Tarka Cordell

Tarka Cordell (1968 - 28 April 2008) was a British musician, writer and sometime model.

The son of music producer Denny Cordell, Tarka was born in Argentina, but moved to the United Kingdom at a young age and was educated at Harrow School in London. He was good friends with Kate Moss, Sadie Frost and Sienna Miller.

His debut album was titled "Wide Awake in a Dream", on the Room 609 record label.

On 28 April 2008 he was found dead at his London apartment, apparently having committed suicide by hanging [http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/columnists/columnists.html?in_article_id=562879&in_page_id=1772&in_author_id=230] .
