Justyna Steczkowska (b.
August 2 ,1972 inRzeszów ,Poland ) is a Polish singer, song-writer and actress.Her wide vocal scale is one of her most noticeable traits as a singer (over 4 octavesFact|date=August 2008). She has also performed under the name Justyna. She comes from a very musical family, and played violin in a family band before becoming a solo singer.
Justyna Steczkowska became famous when she won one of the most popular song contests in Poland "
Szansa na sukces " with the song "Buenos Aires". After a few CDs with her own songs she released "Alkimja " (title inYiddish language ) a compilation of Jewish songs and Polish lyrics. Then came her "Femme Fatale" album, featuring songs from the most "Fatale" women of all time.She represented Poland in the 1995
Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Sama", (Alone). It was placed eighteenth, but has been held in high regards by fans of the contest ever since the performance.So far she appeared in two films: "Billboard" and "Na koniec świata (At The End Of THe World)."She received many awards including the
Fryderyk for "The Song Of The Year".She took part in the Polish edition of
