Maxim Mayorov (born March 26, 1989) is a Russian professional ice hockey player currently playing for Ak Bars Kazan of the Russian Super League.

Playing career

Maxim Mayorov attracted the attention of NHL scouts when playing for Neftyanik Leninogorsk in 2006–07. He was rated 4th over-all among European players by the NHL Central Scouting. The Columbus Blue Jackets chose him 94th over-all in the 4th round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. He started the 2007–08 season with Ak Bars Kazan 3rd level team but was elevated to the main Russian Super League team. He currently plays for the Syracuse Crunch of th American Hockey League.
