Created from the route 4 Broadway "A", "D", "F" and "T" express variations, the NFTA 69 Alden Express Bus route commenced service on March 23, 1993 to operate between Downtown Buffalo, New York to Appletree Business Park, Depew, Lancaster, Townline and the town of Alden.

Present day

The route 69-Alden Express service operates weekdays only, with two trips in the peak direction.[1]
