He is best-known as a guitarist and vocalist for the blues trioKoerner, Ray & Glover , which includedDave "Snaker" Ray andTony Glover . He has also made albums as a solo performer and with collaborator Willie Murphy.Koerner was an early influence on
Bob Dylan and is mentioned in his autobiography "Chronicles".In the 1970s, John Koerner had also ventured into film making. He lives in
