The Pensions Advisory Service (TPAS) is a UK Non-Departmental Public Body [Cabinet Office (2007) " [http://www.civilservice.gov.uk/documents/pdf/public_bodies/public_bodies_2007.pdf Public Bodies 2007] "] and independent non-profit organisation which provides free information, advice and guidance on the whole spectrum of pensions, covering state, company and individual schemes. Additionally they help any member of the public who has a problem, complaint or dispute with their occupational or private pension arrangement. [cite web]
