Persaliano

Persaliano

Persaliano is an Italian surname that originated from the Italian Peninsula, in the Province of Cosenza in Calabria. The name at first was simply "Saliano" and eventually inherited the "Per" in the beginning of the name for unknown reasons years ago. It is assumed that a faction of the family split away from the rest and created an entirely separate family line. Therefore, Persaliano as a surname is an uncommon family name. It has been found in less than 50 families most with heritage in Calabria.
