The Lucky Ones is the ninth album by the band Mudhoney. It was released on May 20, 2008. Mudhoney are celebrating the 20th anniversaries of the band and their record label, Sub Pop. "Superfuzz Bigmuff: Deluxe Edition" was expected to be released soon after, also to mark this anniversary. Recording & Writing

As the band has said the album was written “from the rhythm up” instead of from the riff and the lyrics down and has also stated that it's the fastest album they made.
