Tracción Acústica is the tenth album of Enanitos Verdes published on 1998. Tracción Acústica is a compilation of their biggest successes of their large numbers recorded live with a high acoustic quality. In addition tribute to the legendary Mexican banda El Tri with the classic theme "Metro Balderas". It also contains two unreleased tracks like "El Guerrero" and "Fiesta Jurásica".

The recording of the album was performed live on 28 and October 29, 1997, in Mexico City, is the first album with his new record label: PolyGram. The presentation was filmed by television networks for Telehit and was air on February 1998.Participated as guests Jeff Baxter (Steely Dan - Doobie Brothers) on acoustic guitar and accordion in Julieta Venegas.

Also participating: Horacio Gomez on keyboards, Edgardo Pais guitar; Mark Muller at Pedal Steel, Lap Steel and mandolin; Armando Montiel, Leonardo Munoz and Graham Hawthorne in percussion and Celsa Mel Gowland and Lorena Alvarez in choirs.Tracción Acústica was nominated for a Grammy for "Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album"
