Lualaba River between the river port towns of Ubundu andKisangani in theOrientale region of theDemocratic Republic of the Congo . At Kisangani, at the bottom of the falls, the Lualaba becomes theCongo River flowing generally westward. It has a total drop of 61 meters (200 feet). A rail line goes around the falls, connecting Kisangani and Ubundu.It currently holds the record of water-flow, its average being 600,000 cubic feet a second.
Its peak record is currently 1,834,000 cubic feet a second.
