Lycée Al-Horreya, Alexandria or ‘’’Lycée Liberty, Alexandria’’’ (Arabic:ليسيه الحرية بالإسكندرية) is one of the main old schools in Alexandria, Egypt.
History
It was founded in 1909 by the Mission Laïque Française, an organization which also helped found other lycées all over the world. It was known by the name: Lycée Francais d'Alexandrie till 1961 as it belonged to the Mission Laïque Française and was teaching all subjects in French.
Education
The School –nowadays- includes English & French sections including kindergarten, primary, preparatory and secondary education stages.
Theatre
Lycée Al-Horreya Theatre is not only a school's theatre, it is one of the most famous Public Theatres in Alexandria.
