GSBA Zurich

GSBA Zurich is an international Business School at lakeside Zurich, Switzerland. Founded in 1968 (Oekreal), it introduced the first Executive MBA program to German speaking Europe in 1985.

GSBA focuses on executive education and has designed management courses that meet the needs of today's executives. Inter alia it is recognised for the "GSBA Zurich Living Case", a unique teaching method that enables managers to transfer theory into practise. Faculty consists of 30 members (2008) with different backgrounds and nationalities.

GSBA maintains strategic partnerships with diverse University partners in order to offer international dual degrees. Currently it partners with Leiden University (NL), University of Wales (UK), Robert H. Smith School of Business UMD (USA), and others.

As a business school GSBA offers executive degree programs for individuals, and tailored courses for corporate partners. Some of GSBA's benefits, as it mentions, are: Real life case studies, totally modular, international and first-class faculty, and state-of-the-art campus close to the City of Zurich.

Around 1,500 executives attend degree programs at GSBA (2008). Roughly 10,000 alumni, partly organized in the GAA alumni organization.
