Pashkavil

A pashkavil (alternately pashkevil, plural pashkavilim) is a wall poster, utilized as one of the few forms of mass communication permitted to Haredi (Ultra-orthodox) Jews. The word is the Yiddish form of "Pasquill" (lampoon), see pasquinade. [http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1132475714075&pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FPrinter]
