Peggy Phelan

Peggy Phelan is an American feminist scholar, one of the founders of Performance Studies international [http://www.psi-web.org/texts/history.html] and was chair of New York University's Department of Performance Studies from 1993 to 1996. She is also the author of "Unmarked" (1993) [http://books.google.com.au/books?id=Lf4NAAAAQAAJ&output=html] , "Mourning Sex" (1997) [http://books.google.com.au/books?id=8btTrnrj820C&output=html] and "Art and Feminism" (2001)
