The 2008 season of the ICL Edelweiss 20s Challenge saw the introduction of 2 new teams i.e. Lahore Badshahs and Ahmedabad Rockets. The Hyderabad Heros won the Edelweiss 20's Challenge defeating the Lahore Badshahs 2-0 in the best of 3 finals.
