Opus 3 artists

Opus 3 Artists is an independent artists management firm with offices in New York City and Los Angeles. Formerly the classical music division of International Creative Management, Opus 3 Artists was created in 2006. The first incarnation of the company originated with the impresario Sol Hurok whose Hurok Concerts began in the 1920s and lasted through the 1970s. The second manifestation of the company began in 1976 after a major reorganization took place at Hurok Concerts resulting in the former president of the company starting his own firm, ICM Artists Ltd. which signed several Hurok clients. When the company separated from ICM in 2006 the newly formed Opus 3 Artists was named to represent the third incarnation of the company. David V. Foster is currently President and CEO of Opus 3 Artists.

Opus 3 Artists handles a variety of artists specializing in classical music. Some of the orchestras, instrumentalists, and conductors Opus 3 Artists handles are Yo Yo Ma, Daniel Barenboim, Emanuel Ax, Radu Lupu, the Cleveland Orchestra, Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, the Vienna Boys Choir, St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Russian National Orchestra, Marin Alsop, Christoph Eschenbach, and Donald Runnicles among others. Also represented on the roster are artists in non-classical genres such as jazz, world music, theater, dance, and special attractions. Those artists include Ravi Shankar, his daughter Anoushka Shankar, Doc Severinsen, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Ailey II, Moiseyev Dance Company, The Acting Company, and Patti LuPone.
