It was the first work of original fiction with an initial simultaneous release in those formats, and one of the first podcast novels, or “podiobooks.”

Swarm Press, an imprint of Permuted Press, is set to re-issue a world-wide paperback edition of “Brave Men Run - A Novel of the Sovereign Era.” in the summer of 2008 [ [http://permutedpress.com/smf/index.php?topic=3109.msg51813#msg51813 BRAVE MEN RUN by Matthew Wayne Selznick coming Summer 2008 from Swarm Press! ] ] .

Selznick expects to release his second novel, “Pilgrimage” in 2008.

Podcasting

Selznick is a noted authority in podcasting and new media. He has been featured in "Tricks of the Podcasting Masters," [Walsch, R. and Lafferty, M., "Tricks of the Podcasting Masters", pages 323-324, Que, 2006] and "Book Marketing Demystified." Selznick has done dramatic readings for several podcasts, including Escape Pod, Pseudopod, and Variant Frequencies.

Music

Selznick is also a part-time singer/songwriter/musician who has played with numerous bands over the past two decades. Such bands included Pigbat, Running Erin, Psychopathway and Loveless. Many of the tracks recorded during these sessions are currently available for download on his website under a Creative Commons Non-Commercial Non-Derivatives license.
