Robert Walpole (1650-1700)

Robert Walpole (18 November 165018 November 1700) was Member of Parliament for Castle Rising from 1689–1700.

He is mainly notable for being the father of Robert Walpole, who was Prime Minister under George I and George II, latterly as Earl of Orford. He was ancestor of all the Barons Walpole and Earls of Orford, of all creations.
