- Rallou Manou
Rallou Manou (Greek: Ραλλού Μάνου; 1915-1988) was a noted Greek choreographer and modern dancer. She lived on the island of Hydra.
She led the
Hellenic Choreodrama , a group that presented dance-dramas based onAncient Greek literature. Her works were often performed at theOdeon of Herodes Atticus ofAthens . She collaborated with the Greek composersManos Hadjidakis ,Mikis Theodorakis ,Giorgos Tsangaris , andGeorge Sicilianos . She also collaborated with the Egyptian-born composerHalim El-Dabh , who composed the music for her dance-drama "Doxastiko" (1965).She was married to Pavlos (Paul) Mylonas (Παύλος Μυλωνάς).
