Classic Hits is a 24-hour music format produced by Jones Radio Networks. The format launch was overseen by Jones Sr. Director of Programming Jon Holiday in December 2003. Cheri Marquart is the Classic Hits PD. It's playlist is comprised of classic hit music in the mid 1960s to early 1980s from artists such as The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, The Doobie Brothers and dozens more artists. "Classic Hits" is known as the quintessential "money demo” format, designed to deliver 25-44 adults in a balanced male/female split.
Jones was recently purchased by Triton Media Group and this network will likely be integrated into Dial Global's "Kool Gold" satellite feed in months to come.
