The PacBell Tower, also called the AT&T Switching Center, is a 448ft (137m) tall skyscraper in Los Angeles, California. It was completed in 1961 and has 17 floors. It is the 29th tallest building in Los Angeles. A microwave tower, used from 1961 - 1993, is on top of the building. The building now serves 1.3 million phone lines in the 213 area code for foreign long distance calling.
