Uthaya Sankar SB

Uthaya Sankar SB (born Taiping, Perak) is a Malaysian writer of India origin who writes in Bahasa Malaysia. He is best known for his non-conventional short stories, although he also writes poetry, novels and articles and is a lecturer, newspaper reviewer and TV news editor.

Uthaya Sankar SB was born and bred in Taiping before settling in Shah Alam, Selangor. His criticisms of Tamil literature in Malaysia for "New Straits Times" drew a response from R. Karthigesu.
