Marius Pedersen Fiil (1893–1944) is remembered for the part he played in the Danish resistance movement during the German occupation of Denmark in the Second World War.
Fiil was the owner of the Hvidsten Inn in the north of Jutland. He and his wife Gudrun created Hvidstengruppen (the Hvidsten Group), a resistance cell which helped the British Special Operations Executive to parachute weapons and supplies into Denmark. These were then distributed to resistance fighters.
The members of the resistance group were arrested by the Gestapo in March 1944. Marius Fiil was executed with the others on 29 June 1944 in Ryvangen.
