Tucker Rountree (born June 2, 1981) is an American guitarist, pianist and composer known for opening for Eric Johnson. Biography

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Tucker is an only child, who comes from a strongly artistic and creative family. Tucker began playing guitar at age 6, and quickly learned all his father Philip Rountree would teach him. His Great Uncle Woody Rountree, played Jazz Guitar in the 1930'a, in Kay Kyser's Big Band. [linda brady :http://www.tuckerrountree.com/Ogden_Standard_Examiner_Interview.html] Tuckers other uncle Phil Davis, on his maternal side of the family, is a highly regarded Film Composer and Keyboardist that has credits on the Paul McCartney 2nd solo album "Ram", and Gil Evans albums in the early 70's. Now living in New York City, Rountree continues to write and perform and has started to compose music for Warner Brothers Soundtrack library and has worked for young film maker's "'Christine Altidor". [featured musicians page / nyc :http://www.garagerest.com/]
