Namhyeon-dong Hangul 남현동 Hanja 南峴洞 Revised Romanization Namhyeon-dong McCune–Reischauer Namhyeon-tong Statistics Area 3.27 km2 (1.3 sq mi) Population (2001) 17,228 [1] Population density 5,268.50/km2 (13,645.4/sq mi) Namhyeon or Namhyeon-dong is a statutory division of Gwanak District, Seoul, South Korea.[1]. Its name means "southern mountain pass". It is named because there was main mountain pass to pass over Mt. Gwanak in the past.[2]
