Rosemary Watson - American voice over artist, actress, singer/songwriter.Creator and star of "That Hillary Show". (www.youtube.com/rosemarywatson) Also, Cindy McCain impersonator.A Mid-Westerner, Ms. Watson lived in Highland, Indiana until the age of 14. From an early age she was surrounded with music and drama. Her mother was a church organist, a performer and an educator teaching up to 40 students during the week in the family home. (Her father was a land developer.) Filled with an assortment of musical instruments, their house was even the subject of field trips for local school children. Ms. Watson performed on occasion with her mother's classical trio from the age of 14. She completed two years of college in Florida studying Theatre; and then moved to New York City where she continued her studies with Ron Stetson (The Neighborhood Playhouse). In 1989, she moved to Los Angeles and took a scene study course with Stella Adler, whose caustic style quickly helped the young woman discover she wanted "out of the business". She practiced body-mind therapy for several years and held a variety of odd jobs. In 1990 she went back to school part-time and ultimately earned a BA in Psychology from UCLA (1995).While looking for a job in social services, a friend offered her an administrative position at Fisher-Merlis Television which produced ‘how-to shows’ for HGTV and The Discovery Channel. Conveniently located blocks from her LA apartment, she took the job and shortly thereafter became the set coordinator and props builder for the show, "Your Home, with Kitty Bartholomew". She made her television debut as a guest designer on the spin-off show "Ask Kitty". Other guest appearances soon followed on The Christopher Lowell Show and Willard Scott's Home & Garden Almanac. She became a segment host for Awesome Interiors (HGTV) and was approached by both Discovery and HGTV to host her own shows.In the mid-90s, at the age of 32 she finally overcame a ten-year bout of singing stage-fright and fully engaged herself as a jazz singer. She has performed at venues including The Bellagio and The Paris Hotel, for hundreds of top-level corporate events, televised concerts and at DjangoFest LA. Ms. Watson sings in five languages and other styles including pop, R&B and musical theatre. Her original music can be heard on her website as well as in many of her Hillary Clinton parody videos. She appears on French guitarist, Patrick Berrogain's Hot Club Combo CD and has written songs and lyrics for a wide-array of projects.She was married to Berrogain for a short time with whom she has one son, Dexter Patxi, born in October of 2006. Following the birth of her son, Rosemary built a home-studio in San Diego where she produces sound recordings for TV, radio, the internet, software and cd-roms. In the Fall of 2007 she launched her career as a political satirist/impersonator and has enjoyed critical acclaim from the nation’s leading politicos as well as hundreds of thousands of YouTubers.
