Banu Kaab

The Banu Kaab ( _ar. بنو كعب) are an Arab which settled in western Khuzestan, a province in southwestern Iran, during the 16th century CE.

Branch of the Bani Kaab settled in the areas that are now Oman and the United Arab Emirates, Qatar & Bahrain, another branch rolled Arabistan for centuries.

Individuals who are members of or are descended from the tribe often have the surname "Kaabi" "al-Kaabi" "al-kaibi" or "al-kaaibi".

Banu Kaab are one of oldest tribe in arabic peninsula, They are descended from their grand father "Kaab bin Rabia bin Amer bin Sasaa" from Hawazen tribe from Qais Aelan from "Mader" the grand father of Kuraish & Tamim tribes. Some of them left the middle east to the maghreb like Tunisia Marrocco and other countries. In Tunisia, for example, Al-Kaabi Al-Kaibi Al-Kaaibi are from Kairaoun and they came to Tunisia with Okba Ibn Nafaa with the Aghaliba. Facts|date=July 2008
