"Telmatobius culeus" is referred to as the Titicaca Water Frog, and is only found in Lake Titicaca.

In the early 1970s, an expedition led by Jacques Yves Cousteau reported frogs up to 50cm long, with individuals commonly weighing a kilogram, making these the largest aquatic frogs in the world.
