This is a list of chapters for the shōnen manga series nihongo|"Chibi Vampire"|かりん|Karin. Written by Yuna Kagesaki, the series follows the growing romance between Karin, a mixed-up vampire who gives blood instead of taking it, and Kenta, a classmate who learns her secret and becomes her daytime help. "Chibi Vampire" premiered in Japan in "Monthly Dragon Age" in 2003. It was also published in fourteen collected volumes by Kadokawa Shoten, released between October 1, 2003 and April 1, 2008 in Japan.cite web |url=http://www.fujimishobo.co.jp/webage/karin/ |title=Karin - Books |publisher=Fujimi Shobo |accessdate=2008-04-10 |language=Japanese]

A series of light novels, which cover the same timeline as the manga, are being written by written by Tohru Kai with Kagesaki. "Chibi Vampire: The Novel" series is closely tied to the manga releases, with each volume designed to be read after the corresponding manga volume. For example, the first novel takes place between the events that occur in the first and second volumes of the manga series.cite book |last=Kai |first=Tohru |coauthors=Kagesaki, Yuna (illustrator) |title=Chibi Vampire: The Novel, Volume 1 |date=2007-01-09 |publisher=Tokyopop |isbn=978-1-59816-922-5 |chapter=Postscript |pages=pp. 211-214] "Chibi Vampire" also uses characters introduced in and refers to events that occur within the novel series. [cite book |last=Kagesaki |first=Yuna |title=Chibi Vampire, Volume 4 |date=2007-04-10 |publisher=Tokyopop |isbn=978-1-59816-325-4 |pages=pp. 117] As of April 2008, nine volumes have been released in the light novel series in Japan. The manga was also adapted into a twenty-four episode anime series produced by J.C.Staff. The anime series aired in Japan on WOWOW from November 3, 2005 through May 11, 2005.

In 2005, Tokyopop acquired the license to release both the manga and light novel series in English in North America. To avoid confusion with another of its properties, Tokyopop chose to release the manga under the name "Chibi Vampire" instead of under its original name of "Karin". Tokyopop released the first translated manga volume on April 11, 2006 and is currently releasing three volumes each year.cite web |url=http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2005-11-11/karin-renamed-chibi-vampire |title=Karin Renamed Chibi Vampire |date=2005-11-11 |publisher=Anime News Network |accessdate=2008-04-04] They are also releasing the novel series concurrently with the manga.
