"Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah" is a Hindi television drama series that airs on Zee TV channel starting April 21,2008. The show is set in Punjabi backdrop, and the story is about a mother's inherent anxiety about finding a suitable match for her daughters.

Plot

The story revolves around the Kohli's who are a middle class family from Delhi and have four daughters. Their mother, Kulraj Kohli is forever fretting about not having a good enough income from her husband's just sufficient salary as a professor. She is keen to see her daughters married in good affluent families and so dreams of every possibility to make that come true. Her husband is the recipient of her acrid retorts and constant complaints as to their lifestyle.Meanwhile, the second eldest daughter, Trishna, is particularly apprehensive of the idea of marriage...

Current Storylines

The sisters are finally adjusting to the idea of each other's marriages. However, many obstacles are standing in their way.

"'Trishna, Raj, Tanya, and Rajdeep marriage-Raj marry's tania because of Kanaiyah. When they come home from the temple, raj has already married tanya. Trishna decides she will marry rajdeep. Rajdeep and Trishna have their wedding night. while raj takes his pillow and sleeps somewhere else.

Tanya and Kanhaiya- Kanhaiya has been stalking Tanya for a long time, and has even raped her. He has issued marriage invitations to everybody the Kohlis know. While Kul is trying her best to stop Tanya from taking any drastic steps, in an attempt to avoid the shame that can be brought upon her family, Tanya decides to go and marry Kanhaiya, unbeknownst to her family , but Raj stops her and marries her himself . Fyi:Tanya is not pregnant with Kanhiya's child. SHe just went to the hospital to get a regular check up. She is completly fine with no worries.One day starts vomiting and goes to the doctor fo a check up and it is revealed she is pregnant

Sujata and Raghav-An astrological hindrance stops Sujata from marrying Raghav. However, Raj manages to sort things out. Mr.Trivedi gets jealous of the amount of attention Raghav is devoting to the Kohlis. In a desperate attempt to lure Sujata away from Raghav, he makes Sujata lose her job as a teacher. While Sujata behaves coldly towards Raghav, Raghav threatens his father with promises of becoming a "brahmachari"(priest)

Tanya-Is pregnant with Kanhaiya's baby, even tried to jump of a cliff. But Raj found out and saved her. He vowed to take care of her and the baby. He tries to convience her to stop blaming herself, he does not blame her.
