Xanthe Bearman is a British Television and Radio Presenter. [ [http://www.bbc.co.uk/essex/content/articles/2008/01/21/xanthe_bearman_feature.shtml BBC - Essex - Local Radio - Xanthe Bearman ] ] . Born in Newport, Xanthe now lives in Essex with her husband & three children.

Xanthe started her career in modelling & moved into Musical Theatre, first in the chorus and then taking the title roles in shows including "Hello Dolly" and "Charlie Girl". During the 1990s she sang with the Hertfordshire-based group The Usuals.

After a break to have her children, Xanthe enjoyed small roles in TV commercials & title sequences, before progressing into Presenting.

Xanthe worked on "The Red Line" for Red_TV& "UFO Mysteries" and is also the web presenter for FFVP [http://www.ffvp.co.uk/#/services/4526954547]

Steve Mead & Paul Golder at Phoenix FM gave Xanthe her first break into radio where she presented a daytime entertainment show "The Bear at Lunchtime". [ [http://www.phoenixfm.com/bear-at-lunchtime.php Bear at Lunchtime on Phoenix FM ] ]

Xanthe joined BBC Essex in January 2008.
