Ronald Paterson

Ronald Paterson

Ronald Paterson (born in 1917 in Scotland) is a British fashion designer.

In 1936, he left Scotland to go to London to study at the Piccadilly Institute of Design. In 1947, he opened his own couture house and had a lot of success in the following 20 years; it will close in 1968. In 1966 he wins the Sunday Times Award. He also worked as a fashion consultant in famous films like "The Spy Who Loved Me" (1977) and "The Adventurers".

His archives are at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
