- Bruno Stagno Ugarte
Bruno Stagno Ugarte (born 1970) is the current Minister of Foreign Relations of
Costa Rica and has been the president of the Assembly of States Parties of theInternational Criminal Court (ICC) since 2005.Stagno became Costa Rica's permanent ambassador to the
United Nations in August 2002. In 2005, he succeededJordan 'sZeid Ra'ad Zeid Al-Hussein and became the second president of the Assembly of States Parties of the ICC. Stagno's term at the ICC expires in 2008. Stagno became the Minister of Foreign Relations of Costa Rica on8 May 2006 .Stagno has academic degrees from
Princeton University ,Georgetown University , and theUniversity of Paris .References
