Early life

Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to parents Robyn Lee Asimikopololous and Shawn Harder, Harder lived with her mother's family at an early age and later moved in with her Grandmother. As a child, Harder took an immediate interest in performing. Her mother being a former model herself, she had Harder cast in numerous TV commercials and music video's. She appeared in a Nine Inch Nails music video for their Album "The Fragile" portraying a drug addicted, suicidal teen. Only being 12 at the time, Harder grew tired of the fast paced industry life, and decided to quit.

Career

Though she never seriously considered the business, Harder was discovered at a very early age by a rep at BDM talent, but having rejected the industry in the past, there was speculation over her return. But, In 2005 Harder decided to revive her acting and modeling career, signing with Swish Model Management and later moving to Los Angeles for a short time only to unknowingly launch her career completely. Though she relinquished Canada's No.3 runway model status to new "it girls", Harder holds the record for opening and closing the most shows in one season. According to Models.com Harder was No.27 on the list of the 50 Highest-Paid Canadian Models in 2007, now reaching number No.16 in 2008.

In late 2007, Harder walked in the Ed Hardy fashion show in Toronto Fashion week, and Calvin Klein's Naked line launch party.

As a beauty queen

In 2006 Harder won this Miss Hawaiian Tropics Pageant and in the fall, of 2007 Harder moved back home. She is currently running in the Spring '08 issue of Urban Male Magazine for her title.

The L.A party scene

When Harder moved to L.A in 2007, she became quickly well known on the hip L.A social scene and became linked to various A-listers. Often seen arm-in-arm with the likes of celebrity stylist Amanda Reno, Harder's reputation grew vigorously in more ways then one.
