Great Basses Reef Lighthouse is an offshore Lighthouse in South of Sri Lanka and it is operated and maintained by the Sri Lanka Navy. It is located on a reef 13 km off the cost of Yala National Park and is in proximity to Little Basses Reef Lighthouse, accessible only by boat. The two Basses lighthouses are among the most famous offshore lighthouses of Asia.

The lighthouse was designed by Alexander Gordon and Sir James Nicholas Douglass. It withstood the force of the tsunami with only modest damage; the English lighthouse agency Trinity House agreed to repair it.
