- Lee "Shot" Williams
Lee "Shot" Williams is a soul, soul and blues, and R&B singer who was born in Lexington, Mississippi on May 21, 1938. During Lee "Shot's" early career, he was the opening act for Bobby "Blue" Bland. In 1969, he began recording, and his first release was the song, "I Like Your Style," which was soon followed by his second single release, "Drop Your Laundry."
In 1995, Lee "Shot's" album, "Cold Shot," release on the Black Magic Label was voted the Best Blues Album by the Living Blues reader's poll.
Currently Lee "Shot" is signed with Ecko Records of Memphis, Tennessee. While at Ecko Records, Lee "Shot" recorded "Hot Shot," and this CD includes the songs, "I'll Take The Risk," "Make Me Holler," and "Down In The Hood."
