Athena Voltaire is a fictional aviatrix comic strip heroine created by Steve Bryant, and Paul Daly, and currently published by Ape Entertainment.

In 2002, "Athena Voltaire" launched online at AdventureStrips.com, and when that site was folded into its sister site ModernTales.com moved with it. The series ended its online run at GraphicSmash.com and was on various Best Webcomics lists in 2003 as well as receiving an Eisner Award nomination for Best Digital Comic in 2004. The strip was also included in the 2004 edition of "The Year's Best Graphic Novels, Comics & Manga".

In early 2006, the series debuted in print at Speakeasy Comics with a new story entitled "Flight of the Falcon", selling out quickly but within 30 days Speakeasy went under, leaving the series unfinished. In the summer of 2006 Ape Entertainment relaunched the series in June with the first issue collecting the published Speakeasy issue and the intended second issue, and is releasing a total of four issues in that original intended run.

In December 2006 the online comics were collected into a trade paperback release from Ape, and a follow-up mini-series entitled "Athena Voltaire: The Legend of Mu-King" was announced.
