Džemal Berberović (born November 5, 1981) is a Bosnian football defender currently plays for Bulgarian club Litex Lovech. He has made some very important appearances for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team.

Career

Džemal Berberović started his career at FK Sarajevo. At age 22, he signed with german club Bayer Leverkusen, but didn't play in official matches. In January 2005, he returned for six months in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Berberović played for and captained FK Sarajevo in the Bosnian Premier League before he moved to Litex Lovech in June 2005. Džemal Berberović is considered as one of the most promising Bosnian internationals.
