Kaywan Mohsen

Kaywan Mohsen, also know as K1, is born in 'no-mans-land' between Iran and Afghanistan. His father is from Afghanistan, while his mother is from Iran. Due to the circumstances under which he was born, no birth-certificate dating his exact birthdate was made. His true age remains unknown.

Today Kaywan is known as a young multi-artist from Århus, Denmark. He started writing his first movie at an age around 14. His first shortfilm "Made In Denmark" was released and shown in three cinemas in 2002. Made In Denmark has since won four awards, including 1st price at Festival Of Festivals in Denmark. On April 3rd 2008 his first feature film Eye For Eye was released in 75 cinemas across Denmark. Both Made In Denmark and Eye For Eye are written, produced, directed and edited by Kaywan.

Kaywan K1 Mohsen also writes, composes, performs and produces his own scores/soundtracks.

The future

In January 2008 he started a remake of Made In Denmark into a feature film which will be released in late 2008.
