Psocoptera belonging to the suborderPsocomorpha , that includes, among others, the genera "Epipsocus", "Epipsocopsis", and the New Guinean endemic "Dicropsocus ". The only European species in the family is the (almost always) apterous "Bertkauia lucifuga". Like the other members of the infra-order Epipsocetae, Epipsocidae have alabrum with two sclerotized ridges.ources
