"Why Something Instead of Nothing?" is the only full-length release from Polar Bear, led by ex-Jane's Addiction bassist Eric Avery. This album, PBRCD02, was self-produced and self-released, originally limited to 2,000 copies in 1999 until later reissued in 2004.
