Microsoft Installer Patch Files

Microsoft Installer Patch Files

Microsoft Installer Patch Files are patch/update packages for the Windows Installer. They can be created with the Business Desktop Deployment (BDD) Workbench developed by Microsoft. They are used to create and distribute images of software over a Windows Server Environment.

They also create and use XML files to store the parameters needed for the installation.
