John Primatt Maud

John Primatt Maud was the second Bishop of Kensington from 1911 until his death 21 years later [“Who was Who” 1897-1990 London, A & C Black, 1991 ISBN 071363457X] . He was born on 13 June 1860 and educated at Keble College, Oxford [The Times, Friday, Oct 28, 1887; pg. 10; Issue 32215; col D " University Intelligence. Oxford, Oct. 27 Award of M.A."] . Ordained in 1887 his first post was at St John the Evangelist, Westminster. From 1890 he was Vicar at Chapel Allerton, and from 1904 until 1911 St Mary, Redcliffe, Bristol.
