The Take Me Home Tour was the first solo concert tour by American singer-actress Cher.The tour took place between 1979 and 1981, and was used to promote her 1979 album "Take Me Home".

Considering how difficult it is to find information about earlier tours, it is unknown whether concerts such as: "Two the Hard Way Tour" and The Black Rose Show were part of a tour that promoted Cher's 1977 and 1980 albums, "Two the Hard Way" and "Black Rose".

The show

The concert was based in part on her earlier television shows, "The Cher Show", "The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour", and others. It also featured drag queens impersonating Bette Midler and Diana Ross, Cher impersonating Laverne in her monologue, and nearly a dozen costume changes.
