Next album = Secret Songs EP will be the second EP by Neverending White Lights. There is not a lot of information available about it at this time except that there will be nine tracks, one of which will be an exclusive from Black Ribbons, Daniel Victor's new side project. It will also be limited to 30 pressings, being send out only to those who participated in the NWL Christmas Gift Exchange. Each EP will be hand numbered by Daniel Victor. The Gift Exchange Update

A success. A lovely gesture for the holidays.The idea was to give some friends and fans an opportunity to send something by old school regular mail. Remember that? There's something more romantic about it. Everything is all email/myspace/blog/etc these days, so the tangible letter is a nice change of pace.

I'm predicting some new activities for us in the near future. Details to follow.But it involves YOU writing lyrics and poetry to send over. But, that's not till winter. Think of how fun it will be to share them all.

In the meantime, christmas wishes have been lovely and you all have such heart.

I'm looking forward to sending you these special songs. I'm going to work on finishing them up as best I can (they won't be perfectly finished, which is sorta the point) and I will send you all your gifts in the new year. I shall hope you keep this somewhere special in your collection, as I have with your cards and gifts.

Keep eating and drinking. I've been going overboard. But its all in good spirit.Enjoy your New Year's!2008 is just hours away...

And as for the gift exchange, packages are still coming in this month, so don't check your mailbox until February. And speaking of which, I'm so proud of NWL fans for being so creative and special with their letters. There are some fantastic things lying around my dining room table from you all. NWL's connection is an emotional one. I believe that's why there's so much heart. It runs deeper than your garage rock friend's band. Doesn't it? That's why were here, for the passion and depth.

Your Presents Are Ready!

So remember the NWL Gift Exchange?

Yeh, well. I’m happy to say that if you participated, you’re gift will be in the mail very soon. I wanted to wait until I had finished my new album (The Black Ribbons) to include an exclusive song from it.

Here’s the rundown.

You are a getting a CD of 9 songs. Most of which are b-sides from Act 2 that were never finished or meant to see the light of day. Plus a few other goodies.

There are 30 copies of this "Secret Music" EP in existence. In the world.So if you get one, consider it probably the rarest CD you own.

I numbered each CD by hand.

I’m not sure how long it will take to get them all out, but they’re in the process, so keep watch.
