Christopher Lee Henderson was born April 30, 1971. He is the guitarist from the alternative rock band 3 Doors Down. He has been married to Tonya Lee Henderson since November 3, 2001. His parents names are Gordon (stepmother Bonnie Henderson) and Sue Henderson. Chris Henderson grew up in Escatawpa, Mississippi. From 1989 to 2000, Chris served in the United States Navy as a Seabee.

Chris Henderson has four tattoos. A 3 Doors Down logo at his left forearm, his second is on his right leg and his right upper arm also upper left arm.Chris description of this tattoo:"My tattoo has a couple of different meanings.First, the sun means Away from the Sun. My wife also has the same sun.My daughter's sign is in blue in the middle and also there is a treble clef in the center as well representing music."

Chris Henderson's guitar is a Paul Reed Smith Signature Singlecut Chris Henderson Model, and for acoustics he uses Taylor's.

In 2007 PRS (Paul Reed Smith) Guitars released details of a new Chris Henderson signature singlecut model, featuring three humbucking pickups and the iconic PRS bird inlays.

Chris also endorses VOX amps, playing a variety of AC30's and AC50 Classic Plus'.

He also works for Rock Ridge Records and was scheduled to produced Five.Bolt.Main's next album until they disbanded. Other acts he has produced include but are not limited to: Castor Troy (five song EP). Travis Mitchell Band Dallas, TX (full record release, 2007). Love 45 Denver, CO (full record release 2005). Orphan Soul Pascagoula, Ms "1201", HalfDown Thomas, "Beautifully Strange" (tentative release).

Chris should not be confused with the member of Midnight Brown or the U.S. soccer player who share the same name.
