ICT4LT

ICT4LT (ICT for Language Teachers) is a website comprising a set of 16 discrete ICT training modules for teachers of Modern Foreign languages, initially created in 1999-2000 with the aid of funding under the Socrates Programme of the Directorate for Education and Culture at the European Commission. The site is continually updated by its current editor, Graham Davies, Emeritus Professor of Computer Assisted Language Learning.

The ICT4LT website has proved extremely popular both with practising language teachers and with language teachers undergoing initial teacher training in university departments of education. The site receives over 1000 visits per day from many different countries and has been used widely as a support for the delivery of face-to-face and online training courses in ICT for language teachers.
