Prapopoulos Bros s.a. is a privately owned company involved in the production and distribution of agricultural, industrial and vineyard equipment in Greece.

It is one of the 25 oldest surviving firms in Greece.

History

Prapopoulos Bros s.a. is a family owned business established in 1886 and currently based in the city of Patras, Greece.

Originally a manufacturer of pins, nails, aluminum utensils and copper knapsack sprayers, the company grew and in 1929 became an Anonymous Company.

During the Second World War, the factory, based in the center of Patras at that time, was bombed by the Italian Airforce fortunately with no casualties.

Business operations continued after the end of the war. In 1977 new 2500sqm premises were built in the outskirts of Patras and the company relocated.

Nowadays, almost 30 years after the relocation, the company is seeking to build new office and warehouse premises in the Patras Industrial Zone. The relocation is expected to conclude in first quarter 2009.
