"Runaway", officially known as "Run Away", is a dance-pop song performed by Boomkat for their second studio album "A Million Trillion Stars" (2008). Background

After a break from music, Boomkat released their first single in four years, called "Runaway" on April 8, 2008. The music video premiered on their official YouTube channel, iTunes and Taryn Manning's MySpace page. Blogger Perez Hilton also posted the music video on his website, which made the single more recognized. He described the song "smooth, sexy and a bit autobiographical."

Despite being the lead single of their second album, "Runaway" failed to reach the heights of their previous singles. The single was introduced in many blogs, but was overall a commercial failure. Part of the reason may have been a lack of promotion. However, it was popular amongst its listeners, who described it "addictive, interesting and chill." Music video

In the music video Taryn Manning sings at a party in a long black dress. She recently told "YRB" magazine, that "it's a party I throw, but I'm like a phantom at my own party." Next she's running anxiously, even falling one time, but keeps running away. No one can't see her, because people at the party are "involved with themselves and their own conversations," Taryn added to "YRB magazine." Her brother, Kelling Manning can also been seen in the music video. He is sitting in the stairs wearing a green suit. The music video ends with Taryn sitting by the pool and touching water.
