March 5 ,2008 , in which a special orchestra concert for the music of the Gyakuten Saiban series held in Japan onApril 20 ,2008 would also have an announcement concerning the future of the series. September 17 ,2008 , Court-Records.net revealed the name of the previously unnamed female character to be "nihongo|Mikumo Ichijou|一条 美雲|Ichijō Mikumo" and lists her profession as a thief. Joining her is a new prosecutor named "nihongo|Makoto Yuuki|優木 誠人|Yūki Makoto", who seems to enjoy sports and views himself as a rival to Edgeworth. These two facts were revealed in a "Famitsu" article that also went into the new gameplay features. The game itself will be divided into three segments and Edgeworth will be required to interact with other characters by presenting evidence or confronting their statements, similar to "Ace Attorney" court battles (though environmental interaction will become far more important this time). Finally, the article revealed that the game will be playable in demo form at TGS 2008 with its final release coming sometime in spring of 2009.
